Over the last couple hours, amidst my other random, embarrassing, and ridiculous thoughts, I have been thinking of my favorite celebrity women. Part of this thinking is due to my jealously of all the people who got to go to V to the 10th (the Vagina Monologues 10th anniversary show with a cast of Salma Hayek, Oprah Winfrey, Faith Hill, Jane Fonda, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Hudson, Glenn Close, Ali Larter, Calpernia Addams, Rosario Dawson, Kerry Washington, Jennifer Beals, Didi Conn, Christine Lahti, Doris Roberts, Liz Mikel, Charmaine Neville, and more) and part is just because sometimes I imagine having tea parties with celebrities. What? OK. Sometimes I imagine being all dolled up, wearing the best fitting and looking jeans the gods ever made, and dining with the A-listers. You do to, you just don't admit it.
So, if I were to have a girls-only luncheon with my favorite celebs...here would be at least some of the guest list. (Just so you know now, I would not invite Britney Spears: if I did, who would we talk about the whole time?)
TINA FEY
This woman is totally brilliant. Plus she did the best impression of Daisy on Rock of Love II that I never could have imagined.
JENNY MCCARTHY
I have probably had a heterosexual girl crush on her since like 7th grade. She is hot and goofy and really does it for me.
CHELSEA HANDLER
I was just recently introduced to this dry, sarcastic, spicy dish of hilariousness.
TYRA BANKS
Before Tyra was Tyranny (as I like to call her...ya...learn it...love it...pass it around. I did this before with The Pope-rah [for Oprah] but then Stephen Colbert took it and said HE came up with it...urg), I thought she was something else in the hotness realm. Now that I know what a crazy-nuts-o superpower she is, I can't get enough.
GWEN STEFANI
Can you blame me? She is a total icon.
ELLEN DEGENERES
This woman sweats humor. Being funny comes so naturally to her. I'm totally jealous.

I love Tina, Gwen, and Ellen!!! I think I would add Dita Von Teese (I know, scandelous!), Karen O ( little crush on her), Ellen Page (I have read her interviews and think we would have a lot in common, one thing for sure is a love of Sigur Ros), and maybe Zooey Deschanel. If I think too long I will pick too many! Yay this was fun!
Oh, I just thought of one more possibility: Maggie Gyllenhaal, because Paul sorta has a thing for her.

I don't know about celebrity blondes, but I have thought about celebrity animals. I personally would love to spend time with the dog from the movie Mask. What a great personality! And who wouldn't want to spend a late night at the bar with Jaws, swapping fish stories about who ate what when?

How funny...the women you picked seem so much like you...even though I don't know you (exept for the fact that we are kindered spirits!!). The style, wit, and obvious beauty are represented in each gal. I, too, am obsessed with Tyra. I love ANTM and my favorite part is when she shows the models "how" to model. Delicious!!!
Aaaah...JLo...did you love when Tyra had to show the girls the difference between a slutty wall slide and a high-fashion/top model wall slide...one of my favorite ANTM moments.
Your list is fairly close to who i wold choose. Ellen is a treat, and we all know my thoughts on Tyra "you wanna be on top" Gwen, freaking hot, love her style, and her voice is kind of raspy, dead sexy. I think i would add Kat from LA Ink, something about her peaks my interest. I would add Drew barrymore, I think her and I would get along very well. Yeah i could go on forever. Good post

Okay I've been thinking for two whole days about who I would add. Now I've got it. Kate Winslet. I just love her! She's so confident with who she is (she's totally okay with not being a size 0)and she is all about family.
