This past week they have been doing a "5:00 Somewhere" post where they photograph whatever is happening at 5:00 in their life.
I haven't posted in ages (in case you hadn't noticed), and so this idea sounded like a manageable way to get back into the blog scene which I totally miss.
So this is me just about 15 minutes ago at 5pm. I'm on the phone, because Paul calls me to chat on his drive home, something that we've done since we started dating. I totally watch the clock if I get home before him, waiting for his call (because I am a total sucker for him like that).
The other detail that you wouldn't know, but I feel so inclined to not let you overlook, is that I am wearing clothes that do not belong to me (though I wish they did...adorable sweater...and they smell nice, like expensive detergent and fine perfume), because my clothes were needed for a funeral, which led to an irreverent amount of pre-funeral laughter and an unplanned clothes swap during 4th period today. (I know, leaving out the juicy details of the story is just killing you).
Another fun fact you may like to note about this photo is the white shelves on the wall behind me...I built them. And Painted them. And the painted 30-ish frames on the shelf. I guess Paul shouldn't be entirely excluded from credit, but I definitely didn't need him.
